PRE-WEDDING QUESTIONNAIRE Names & Wedding Date Please list the names of your bridesmaids (including their responsibilities, e.g. Maid of Honour, flower girl etc) Please list the names of your groomsmen (including their responsibilities, e.g. Best Man etc) Please list the names of the Bride’s close family (parents/grandparents/siblings etc) Please list the names of the Groom’s close family (parents/ grandparents/siblings etc) Will your bridesmaids walk ahead or behind the Bride down the aisle? (usually recommend that they go before the Bride but that they are taking their seats before the Bride enters to ensure everyone can see you) Are there any readings or anyone singing during the ceremony? If so, what is the relation of the reader/singer to the Bride & Groom? Are there any restrictions on photography during the ceremony that I need to know about? i.e. no flash permitted in the church/only allowed in certain areas etc. Are you having confetti? If your ceremony and reception are different locations, what are the transport plans for getting between the two venues (i.e. all guests taking their cars/coach or bus hired etc)? What time are the reception events planned for: Drinks & canapés? Wedding breakfast? Speeches? Cake cutting? First dance? Are you having a receiving line before the meal? (usually not recommended due to time constraints) Do you have any particular details (such as table decorations, favours, room décor – perhaps some items are home made?) that you would like captured? What style of wedding breakfast have you planned; Traditional table service/ Hog Roast/ Buffet/Other? What entertainment are you having for the evening; DJ/Band/Playlist? What are their start and finish times? Are there any other events happening during the day that you think I should know about? Such as magician/caricaturist/sparklers etc Do we have enough time set aside for your couple portrait photography? (A good recommendation is usually 20 minutes after the ceremony and then 10 minutes at sunset (time of year dependent)) Are there any areas at your venue where you would particularly like your couple portraits to be taken? Is there anything else you’d like me to know for your couple photos, such as you prefer a light and fun approach (you both love photos when you’re laughing and smiling for example) or you’d rather have a more emotional feel to your shoot? To make it quicker and easier to roundup groups of people for photos, can you let me know of 2 people that will be able to help me with identifying the people needed for each photo? These “helpers” should be reliable and familiar with the people listed for the photos. Are there any family dynamics/politics that I need to be aware of? E.g. such as divorced parents that don’t speak, step-dad is more like a father than your biological dad, aunt has fallen out with your mum etc Group photo 1: Please tell me who they are (e.g. brides immediate family) and list their full names here, each separated by a comma Group photo 2: Please tell me who they are (e.g. groom's immediate family) and list their full names here, each separated by a comma Group photo 3: Please tell me who you'd like in this photo and list their names Group photo 4: Please tell me who you'd like in this photo and list their names Group photo 5: Please tell me who you'd like in this photo and list their names Group photo 6: Please tell me who you'd like in this photo and list their names If you would like a large group photo of all guests (weather & space dependant), please indicate here and advise if you know of a high view point where the shot can be take from (e.g. the bridal suite looks down on the lawns or there’s a mezzanine level above reception). If not, it’s not a problem! Please list anything else you feel is relevant that I may have missed! 1 + 15 = Submit
